The Details

01. Prepare & Schedule Your Session
Before you schedule your session, we recommend preparing for your walk through by reviewing your goals. This can look different for everyone. A homeowner may have completely different outcomes in mind compared to an architect with a large commercial project or a kitchen designer finalizing a layout. Identifying your goals for the session helps us make recommendations and ensure you have an adequate time slot. Some common items to identify before scheduling typically are:
-
Who needs to attend? What's the availability to get everyone in the same room?
-
What stage of the project are the drawings in?
-
What are my biggest concerns about my drawings or items I'd like to check?
If it's your first time, contact us to schedule a demo or discovery call. This quick session helps you gain a better idea of what to expect and the benefits of Projective. Our goal is to make sure your time at Projective is enjoyable and effective.

02. Prepare for Your Appointment at Projective.
Once your floor plan walk is scheduled at Projective, it's time to start preparing. To help maximize your time during your session, we recommend coming prepared. To do this, we recommend making a list that prioritizes your spaces. For example, as a homeowner, the kitchen, living room, and primary bedroom may be more critical to review than a secondary bedroom. Or for a commercial project, it may be important to prioritize reviewing exam room layouts, classrooms, kitchens and office spaces.
In addition to prioritizing spaces, have a list of what you'd like to review. You may just be looking to experience the space at full scale. Or maybe it's making sure the grand piano fits into the space. Additionally, with our state-of-the-art multi-wall projection, we're able to project elevation views in full scale - walk through your kitchen to verify layout. Or bring exterior samples and hold them up against exterior elevations.
Taking the time to prioritize and set goals for your walk helps produce a productive session.
If you have additional drawing files that were not provided while booking your session, please send these to our team 48 hours prior to your walk.
03. Walk Through Your Floorplans at Projective
Whether you're going solo or bringing along others involved in your project, gather the team and prepare for an exciting interactive session!
We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to your session to get familiar with the space and settle in. Setup on our expansive island and grab a complimentary beverage prior to your session starting. If you're bringing the team, our 12 person conference room is perfect for collaborating or bringing others in online.
During your walk, we recommend following your priority list. However, if you need to look at additional plans and details, changing the projection is simple and quick. Our third space wall easily connects to Apple devices via. Airplay. Bring your iPad to project markups real-time while you walk!
